Creating your first attribute with inputs

With Staggs installed, you will see a new menu item called “Staggs”

Go to Staggs > Attributes and create new attribute

Enter your attribute title.

This is very important. You cannot leave attribute titles or option labels empty. That can break the configuration.

Next, choose a template.

Make sure Template is any of the following options: text field, number field, measurements or image upload

And Type is set to Input

Otherwise the inputs will not show up

Creating a new input

Creating the attribute will not create an input already.

To display inputs, we have to add attribute items.

So let’s add a new attribute item.

Scroll down and click the button “Add attribute item”

Next, enter the input name in the field Label.

Specify the input type in the field Input type

You can choose from:

• Text input
• Textarea
• Number input
• Range slider
• Date picker
• File upload (pro)

And optionally set a price for the input

This can be a fixed price or a unit price (price per character or number)

If you are on the PRO version, you can also create advanced calculation rules based on formula’s and tables.
