There are a few ways to customize default option behaviour in the Staggs configurator plugin: Customize default option Disable default options Set multiple default options By default the first available option of the attributes will be selected. But you can change which option should be checked by default. Customize default option Simply head over to your configurator builder and check the option “Set default attribute option” in the attribute box.
Disable default options You can also choose to disable default options if you don’t want any of the options selected on load. To achieve this, simply head over to your configurator template and check the option “Disable default option selection on load”
Set multiple default options (pro) Finally you can choose to define multiple default options. This only works for attributes that allow multiple option selections. And you need to be on the PRO version. Head over to the configurator builder and locate the attribute box you want to set default options for. First, make sure you check the box “set default option” and select your first default option. Now activate the conditional option display and add new option to the list. Finally, select the option you want to mark as default and check the box “Include option as default value” Now both options will be selected on load.
